After the last book in the series, Gabaldon completely outdid herself and got back on track. This is a great read that included everything one would want in a novel ... action adventure, romance, humor ... all of things come together in effortless simplicity. Don't get me wrong ... nothing in simple about the lives these two have. She has managed a book with both a strong hero AND a strong heroine without having it become too preachy or all womens lib-y. Quando Claire,grazie all'aiuto di sua figlia e di Roger, capisce che Jamie è sopravvissuto a Cullode,decide di ritornare nel passato per stare per sempre con lui. Ma non sarà facile perchè i due si riavvicineranno dopo 20 anni di lontananza,due nuove vite,ma il loro amore vincerà ancora una volta.Ho trovato solo una parte un po' noiosa,quella di Edimburgo,per il resto è sempre bello rileggere di questa coppia e di tutte le loro avventure.

Anche questo libro come i precedenti capitoli mi è piaciuto molto soprattutto dalla seconda metà del libro, anche se nella prima mi sono piaciute molto le scene tra Brianna e Roger, che trovo dolcissimi. Nell'insieme è stato un libro intenso, dolcissimo ma anche tristissimo in diverse scene. L'unica pecca è che dopo aver letto questo bel libro arrivata alla fine sono rimasta con un "E adesso che succederà?" che potrò colmare solo leggendo il prossimo capitolo di questa bella serie.

Sinceramente? Mi aspettavo di meglio. Se tutto il romanzo fosse stato sulla falsa riga delle prime tre/quattro parti, quindi con il doppio pov, gli avrei dato sicuramente una stella in più. Secondo me a lungo andare, soprattutto in alcune scene, avere solo il pov di Claire fa mancare qualcosa alla storia. Sarà perchè saltare di personaggio in personaggio come un'ape sui fiori mi piace da impazzire, ma sono fermamente convinta che alcune scene soprattutto nel finale necessitassero almeno del pov

Na minha opinião o melhor dos três volumes. Gostei do crescimento das personagens. Estou a adorar o crescimento da Claire, enquanto mulher, as suas atitudes nos livros anteriores deixavam muito a desejar. Dava quase a sempre a sensação de não ter vontade própria. Agora está a exercer o seu direito a ter "voz".
