Fain and Galene's story was decades in the making and when they reconnect it's explosive. Their story is full of action, danger, emotion, heartache and romance. Sherrilyn Kenyon writes in a way that

as always a masterpiece of crazy and loving characters finding a way to overcome all odds and find love. cried many times but in the end was totally in love with the entire story and loved every minute both happy and sad.

3.5 Stars Leaving Galene Batur was one of the hardest things Fain Hauk has had to do, and hes had to do a lot. But, he had no choice, it was either break of their betrothal and his brother lives, or marry Galene and his brother dies. I simply adore this series, there's no other like it. I've been in love with the Hauk brothers from the beginning, so I knew I would really enjoy reading Fain's story. It was great how we got to give closure to many things that had been unanswered till now. Also we've been reading about Fain through all the previous books, but we never got to read his story in detail. It was everything I wanted it to be. Fain finally gets everything he deserves and has been dreaming of since he was a boy. In
