After escaping her bloodthirsty captor, she’s through with creatures of the night. Until she finds herself under the protection of the darkly handsome Anders. Not only is she expected to accept that Anders is immortal, but also that she is the woman destined to be his life mate! . . . Or does it? Anders felt a connection to Valerie from the moment he cradled her bruised body in his arms. But before he claims her, he must destroy the vampire who almost stole her from him forever. His job would be easier if Valerie didn’t fight him every step of the way. Still, Anders loves a challenge, and the green-eyed beauty is worth fighting for!

Commentary Of Books Immortal Ever After (Argeneau #18)
3.5 starsThis installment was pretty good. I enjoyed most of it. The upside was the heroine, who was pretty cool. The hero Anders was a good guy, but was a bit robotic. I just did not get a lot of emotion or depth from him. Overall the book dragged in the middle. Way too much Leigh whining about being really pregnant, eating, cooking food and shopping for food. I cannot believe how many pages were devoted to this! The beginning was exciting. The ending was good but a little anti-climactic. Except

SemmyI adore this series it never fails to make me gasp, smile, rail at characters, and fall in love all over again.

I have been looking forward to reading Anders story because he was so restrained, dark, brooding, mysterious, you name it. Wow was he lame. Not that this was a bad story but where was the heat, the passion, the darkness? Not what I was hoping for in the least. Oh Anders, you were very vanilla-so very bland.

Anders has been an Enforcer for many years and has watched his fellow Enforcers fall victim to life mates one by one. When an unusual 911 call comes in that the Enforcers respond to, Anders is amazed to find he has discovered his life mate.Valerie has literally just escaped from the house of Hell. She had been kidnapped and held in a cage with several other women for almost 2 weeks. She managed to stab one of her captors and call 911. When she is talking to her rescuers she doesn't know how to

Immortal Ever After is the 18th book in Lynsay Sands insanely popular Argeneau series, and a fun, exciting, sexy story! Ive read more than my fair share of the paranormal romance genre, most especially vampires. I dont know what it is, but theres something about these tormented souls that draw me in and keep me coming back for more. Its not often that I fall in love during my first read of a series, but I fell - and fell hard - for the Argeneau world. From the cover:A kiss doesnt mean eternity

I still want to know what happens with her clinic, but whatever. It was cute and definitely humorous.I LOVED Anders first name. Ridiculousness!!

Can I be let-down when I end up liking a book that I was expecting to hate? You know that book rants are like chocolate to me. I need. I crave. I indulge way too much to be considered normal. The hero of this book is called Anders and he was kind of a dick in past books. I was looking forward to him acting like an alpha-asshole and me getting to call him an alpha-asshole. It's my thing. I even have a bookshelf dedicated to them. I feel really good when I rail on an A.A., and I get my feminist
