A blast from my youthful past! Hollywood adapted this into a tv-movie, using a much older cast to play essentially new adult roles: it didn't translate as well, unfortunately. Audrey Hepburn was superb, but the movie was a let-down. This fabulous book had twists and turns that had me downright clinging to the edge of my beach chair! Sidney Sheldon was THE master of story-telling back in the day. He was one of my favourite authors growing up. Highly, highly recommended!
