Dont you just love to hate the bad guys? Lord Cromwell has been an excellent adversary through most of the series. In Ransom we learn more about this fascinating man. The family visit to Disney Land added a light moment in the book, and the author took that time to explain more about Dmitris children. I loved the excitement of the battle back in Romania, the development of Lord Cromwell, of who and what he is, his final resolution. This book ends with a bang! With the Familys added

I have to say that I was waiting for this second novel to come out! I knew her first book, Charmeine, was a great read. This one, did not disappoint. The story is very unusual and at each time something predictable was going to happen, it didn't. It has a ton of twists and turns, so it kept me hooked. Now, I guess I should explain that I am not a reader. I mean, I would be watching football any day, but I read the first and it was great. So now, I have read this one and it was just as good. So I
