Weigh Up About Books The Maze Runner Series (The Maze Runner #1-4)
Yet another trilogy in the style of The Hunger Games and Divergent. It has been advertised as such and I would agree. The complete series also includes a prequel which I think worked well in explaining the origins of the world the Maze Runner is set in. The story is stranger (for lack of a better word) and the premise not as strong as The Hunger Games and Divergent but the trilogy as a whole is much stronger, and does not taper out in the later books as the other trilogies did. It was a much

I really enjoyed this series. When I first started reading the Maze Runner, to be honest, I wasn't really into it and I thought the way it was written was maybe a bit strange, however as I read the next books, each turn of the page it improved. In the end I was loving this series, and I thought the ending was PERFECT! I don't want to spoil anything, but I think that it was really realistic and a nice way to finish such a surprising and adventure packed series. I would recommend this gripping

A no-fuss, ripping, unpretentious young adult dystopian yarn. Less sophisticated than the Hunger Games, it still delivers, and Dashner is very good at combining suspense, angst and adventure.

BLURB (TMR): When the doors of the lift crank open, the only thing Thomas can remember is his first name. But hes not alone. Hes surrounded by boys who welcome him to the Glade, an encampment at the centre of a bizarre and terrible maze. Like Thomas, the Gladers dont know why or how they came to be there, or whats happened to the world outside. All they know is that every morning when the walls slide back, they will risk everything to find out.WHAT I THOUGHT: I use to hate reading until I

I have many contradictory opinions about this series but these are the highlights without giving any of the plot away.- The 1st book in the series is a bit slow. The author tries to make it mysterious but really he just drags things out too much. I am happy to report that I just watched the movie and they fixed a lot of the problems the 1st book had like the slow pace and the authors tendency to make things overly complex. - I also was never fully satisfied for the reasoning behind the Maze. The

These books are aMAZEing. You need to read them. They are totally WICKED ;)

This book was amazing. Once u finish the maze runner you will be begging your mom to get you the next book in the series. This book was rich in good themes and ideas. Not only that but rich in good characters and the author did a good job in making the setting. *spoilers* chuck dies and so does Alby
